Description:
Inactivated combined vaccine for the immunization of chickens against Infectious Bronchitis (serotype Massachusetts) and Newcastle Disease in a water-in-oil emulsion.
Composition:
Active components per dose:
IB strain M41: inducing ≥ 6.0 log2 HI units
ND Clone 30: containing ≥ 4 log2 HI units per 1/50th of a dose or ≥ 50 PD50 units
Indication:
For the booster vaccination of layers and breeding stock for protection against Newcastle Disease and the Massachusetts type of Infectious Bronchitis.
Dosage and Administration:
Each bird should be given 0.5 ml of vaccine intramuscularly in the thigh or chest muscle or subcutaneously into the back of the neck.
Recommended Vaccination Programme:
Nobilis® IB+ND should be given to birds around 16-20 weeks of age, but not less than 4 weeks before the expected onset of lay. For an optimal booster effects, the birds must be primed with live vaccines of the separate component strains. The best results will be obtained if vaccination with inactivated I.B. vaccine takes place 6 or more weeks after administering the live vaccine but in no circumstances should it be done earlier than 4 weeks after priming (Please refer product leaflet for more information).
Storage:
Store in dark between 2°C and 8°C and avoid freezing. Broached vials should be used within three hours.
